Pandemic Road Trip 3: 2021 North Carolina and Virginia (April 2021)

After one year of mostly staying home and staying local (except for the couple of short road trips), finally on April 11, 2021, we took our longest road trip of the pandemic until that time -- it lasted a whole week!

True to the legacy of the pandemic, our trip actually started with getting the first vaccination shot at a FEMA site in Norfolk (at that time, it was still not easy to schedule an appointment). After that, we continued our trip and crossed the Virginia-North Caroline line and headed toward the Outer Banks. North Carolina would also be another of our new "Pandemic state".
