Belted Kingfisher

The Belted Kingfisher, as its name suggests, is an acrobatic flier and master "fisher" -- it can dive with pinpoint accuracy to catch fish from the water. It can be seen sometimes in nearby Herndon Monroe Wetland Preserve and Arrowbrook Park.
