House Wren

Its songs are not as melodious as those of its cousin, the Carolina Wren, nor are they as loud, and its plumage is rather plain, but when it sings, the House Wren exudes the exuberance only wrens can. They are not as common as you would think in our area, but whenever I see one, it always warms my heart.
